About the Role

We are seeking a Senior PROS CPQ Administrator / Configurator to lead the configuration, optimization, and governance of our PROS CPQ and pricing systems. In this role, you will manage complex product configurations, pricing structures, discounting logic, and approval workflows that directly impact sales efficiency, quote accuracy, and overall business performance.

You will work closely with Solution Architects, Sales Operations, and cross‑functional teams to drive best practices, enhance system capabilities, and mentor junior team members. This is a strategic, hands‑on role ideal for someone who thrives in dynamic environments and enjoys solving complex configuration challenges.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and configure PROS CPQ & PROS Price Management, including complex products, bundles, pricing rules, discounting, and approval workflows.
  • Lead integration support with PLM and ERP systems ensuring accurate data flow and integrity.
  • Act as the senior escalation point for CPQ‑related issues; troubleshoot and resolve user challenges.
  • Review business requirements with stakeholders and provide strategic CPQ recommendations.
  • Implement best practices for product catalogs, pricing structures, and approval processes.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance quoting, pricing, and overall workflow efficiency.
  • Manage release cycles including sandbox validation, regression testing, and deployment.
  • Mentor junior administrators and developers; develop training materials and documentation.
  • Collaborate with architects and cross‑functional teams to design scalable CPQ solutions.

Required Experience

  • 5+ years of hands‑on experience administering PROS CPQ and PROS Price Management.
  • Expertise in complex product catalogs, pricing rule configuration, discount structures, and approval flows.
  • Strong experience in PLM-driven product configuration and ERP integrations.
  • Proven background supporting engineered‑to‑order (ETO) or configurable product environments.
  • Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience mentoring junior team members and driving cross-functional collaboration.
