Job Description:
- Develop and prepare solutions for complex business and technical problems using large-scale computer systems.
- Build and maintain web-based applications using Java and associated technologies.
- Troubleshoot and correct technical issues in health applications.
- Conduct system upgrades and implement new features ensuring secure design practices.
- Collaborate with business teams, DBAs, vendors, and technical support teams.
- Provide technical mentorship and leadership when required.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 15+ years of experience in IM/IT roles.
- 8+ years of experience developing web-based applications using Java.
- 8+ years supporting health applications for a Canadian provincial health authority.
- Strong experience with SQL Server, SSRS, and security in application design.
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written).
