Role Summary

Looking for experienced Maximo Developers/Technical Specialist to design, customize, and implement technical solutions that enable Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) compliance within Maximo. This role involves developing workflows, automation scripts, integrations, and mobile configurations to support safety-critical processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Technical Development
  • Configure and customize Maximo applications for LOTO workflows (Work Orders, Safety Plans, Job Plans, Permits).
  • Develop Automation Scripts (Jython/JavaScript) for validations, conditional logic, and dynamic UI behavior.
  • Build custom workflows for Permit-to-Work and lock/tag custody tracking.
  • Create integration points with external systems (EHS, ERP, Identity Management) using Maximo Integration Framework (MIF).
  • Develop custom reports (BIRT/Cognos) for compliance and audit tracking.
  • Mobile Enablement
  • Configure Maximo Mobile for LOTO verification steps, photo evidence, and e-signatures.
  • Optimize mobile forms for field usability and offline execution.
  • Data & Asset Mapping
  • Implement data models for Asset–Energy Source mapping and isolation points.
  • Support data migration and cleansing for LOTO-related attributes.
  • Testing & Deployment
  • Perform unit testing, integration testing, and UAT support for LOTO workflows.
  • Document technical specifications and configuration changes for audit readiness.

Required Skills

  • Strong experience in IBM Maximo development (v7.6.x or MAS 8.x).
  • Expertise in:
  • Automation Scripts (Jython/JavaScript)
  • Application Designer, Conditional UI
  • Workflows, Escalations
  • Integration Framework (MIF) – REST, SOAP, JSON
  • Knowledge of Maximo Mobile configuration and deployment.
  • Familiarity with LOTO processes and EHS compliance requirements.
  • Reporting skills (BIRT/Cognos).

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Maximo Health & Safety (HSE) module.
  • MAS 8.x exposure and containerized deployments.
  • Integration with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle).
  • Understanding of OSHA 1910.147 or equivalent safety standards.
