Job Description:
We are hiring a Senior Developer for a high-impact modernization project. You will be part of an Agile development team, working on transitioning legacy services to modern cloud-based architectures.
Key Responsibilities:
✔️ Full-stack development using Python, Postgres, Vue.js, TypeScript
✔️ Design & develop RESTful APIs, automated tests, and CI/CD pipelines
✔️ Migrate digital services from legacy systems to DevOps, Kubernetes, and microservices
✔️ Collaborate in Agile teams to deliver scalable and high-performance solutions
✔️ Mentor team members on modern technologies
Must-Have Qualifications:
✅ 2+ years as a full-stack developer (JavaScript frameworks)
✅ 1+ year experience with Python & TypeScript
✅ Hands-on experience with API development & integration
✅ Strong knowledge of Cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
✅ Experience in Agile methodologies and DevOps practices
Preferred Qualifications:
➕ Experience with BC Registries & Online Services
➕ Familiarity with SOLR, Elasticsearch, Flask, OpenShift
➕ Knowledge of Apigee API gateway, OAS v3 compliance
➕ Strong technical documentation skills
